Ashton Simmons, is President of Operations for SHIFT Capital LLC, and leads in the advisory efforts at Mosaic Brokerage Group Commercial (MBGC). He  has over twenty 20 years of experience opening and managing retail and mixed-use commercial developments nationally, and leading multifaceted teams

Ashton has a tremendous ability to build rapport with the communities and find ways to effective program and activate interior and exterior spaces. Prior to SHIFT and MBGC, Ashton has held positions as Managing Director, Assistant Vice President, Senior General Manager, and General Manager for Brookfield, CenterCal Properties, Seritage Growth Properties and LBG Real Estate Companies.

In his current role at SHIFT Capital, Ashton works along side of the Mosaic Brokerage team leasing Sharswood Ridge, a mixed-use development project that was co-developed and presently co-owned by SHIFT Capital and Mosaic Development Partners.   It is the synergy that was magically created when Ashton's decades of experience in retail real estate development came together working alongside of the Mosaic Brokerage team that led to these two high profile Philadelphia based developers to now collaborate in brokerage services.

Ashton holds a bachelor’s degree in international finance from Morgan State University, a master’s in business administration degree from the DeVry – Keller Graduate School of Management, and a juris doctorate degree from Hofstra University School of Law.

 Ashton is member of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of NAIOP and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).  He currently resides in the Greater Philadelphia Area.
